Hair-Styles

Celebrities have started a new trend of having different hair styles for each of their on screen appearances, and Hayden Panettiere, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie are some of the Hollywood stars who always create a buzz with their new trendy hair styles. They can be called as an epitome in setting a trend and the latest trend is Brazilian Blowout.

Brazilian Blowout is a process in which even the frizziest hair can be made smooth and shinning. This blowout method actually improves your hair and makes it stronger. Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie have tried out the Brazilian Blowout and are enthralled and they feel this keratin product is set to make big rounds. This treatment stays for 12 weeks and it is formaldehyde-free which means there is no chemical hazard and Brazilian Blowout is hundred percent safe. There are no restrictions and it can be tried out on any type of hair. The only restriction is that pregnant women are advised to stay away from this treatment. Finally to stress the difference between Brazilian Blowout from Japanese is that the hair is not completely straightened as in Japanese which means even after the blowout the hair remains curly or wavy.

Learn to listen to the want and needs of your body. Don’t over eat and don’t under eat. Do be satisfied. Eat fruits in the morning. Neither stuff yourself to compensate for the emptiness you may feel from missing your customary heavier breakfast not skip the fruit because you don’t feel like having it. It supplies the water content and fuel that are so necessary for detoxification.

As the morning progresses, if you feel hungry and are beginning to crave heavier foods, have a couple of bananas. They stay in your stomach a little longer than juicy fruits and give you a fuller feeling. It is not fine to have more than one. Be sure that they are ripe, not green. The green indicates that the starch has not yet turned to sugar. Brown spots on the skin of the banana indicate that the starch has been converted to sugar.

beauty tips for bride

Ordinarily, eye make-up has a special importance, but more so for the bride – specially with all the heavy jewellery and dazzling bridal attire.  The eyes should attract a lot of attention.  Avoid using dark eye-shadows on the upper lid. To make the eyes look larger and brighter, use a luminous eye-shadow on your wedding day.  Eye-lining in black, dark brown or dark blue would be suitable contract to the eye-shadows used.  Try using a colored, frosted eye-shadow pencil on the lower lid, just near the eye-lashes, and then paint a line of black or charcoal grey for the lower lining.  This can look very effective.  And, of course, use mascara to give your eyes that final touch.

It is best to have a professional facial done to get the freshness and glow on your face for the day.  The bride invariably gets tired before the wedding, because a lot of running around has to be done – what with all the clothes, jewellery and the rest of the shopping to be doe, which nobody else can do for her.  So it becomes all the more important to give your face a refreshing facial, which is possible only at the beauty parlors.  A body massage is also very relaxing and useful.  You could mix 4 ounces of olive oil with 2 ounces of almond oil to massage the body with, paying special attention to the back, neck, knuckles, toes, elbows and knees.  The under clothes for the day should be perfumed before the bridal attire is worn.

Do not forget to dab perfume on your feet, under the toes, on the legs, arms and behind the ears.  Avoid spraying perfume once you have your sari and blouse on, lest you stain them.  Use safety pins to tuck, for it is very unbecoming to see a bride struggling with her jewellery or her clothes.

Hair-Styles

Some of  you know what exactly suits you and some leave it to the hair dressers.  Others have no idea about what will suit them. Hair are styled essentially according to the shape of the face.

How to know what shape you Have: Brush you hair away from the face and kept it there for a while with a hair band or a ribbon to expose your true hair line.  Now stand close to the mirror and take your old lipstick, which you can afford to waste, and draw a line along the outline of your face on the mirror.  The shape you will get can be classified in one of the six shapes given below:

Round: For this face the style should be higher and narrower on the sides.  Hair piled on the top of the head is also suitable.

Inverted Triangle: This face can be made to appear less bony by adding a little height to the style, and also covering the temple.  It should be broad and away from the sides down to the chin, so that attention is drawn away from the pointed chin.  Short hair would be a better choice.

Triangle: Set the hair high and wide on the sides up the ears, and narrow it along the jaw line, covering it.  A long hair-style is better suited to this face.

Oval: This is a perfect shape and can carry any style to advantage.

Diamond: Comb the hair higher and wider towards the temples, the covering the neck; the hair style should then get narrow and away from the chin. Short and long styles can be worn.

Long: The style on this face should not be very high on top, but wide on sides,  A shorthair-do would look quite good.

Tips for Bridal Secrets

Tips fo Bridal secret

You must remember that a bride should not only look the prettiest on her wedding day, she should look the same thereafter too.  Your personal freshness and hygiene are the keynote to lasting charm and elegance.

Start looking after your skin long before the wedding day, by having a proper diet and cleaning your face every night with cleansing milk or a good cleansing cream.  Use the cosmetics best suited to your skin.  After washing your face with soap and water, rub a piece of ice(wrapped in a clean muslin cloth) all over your face to make sure you do not get pimples.  As you know, the regular use of an under arm deodorant as well as brushing your teeth twice a day, will help you remain fresh all the time.

Besides, a regular manicure and pedicure is not to be forgotten.  If you have started waxing your legs and arms, keep it up.  The same goes with regard to growth on the upper lip, if any. Before your bridal make up use ice and skin tonic, and then your foundation mixed with a little bit of moisturizer.  But use it sparingly for the luminous look.  Do not use a very dark eye-shadow, as that does not photograph well.  A touch of blush on is quite a favorite of every bride as it adds the needed glow and color to your cheeks.  For an Indian bride red and white or red and gold dots on the forehead make her look like a real bride.  This is how you will look different from all the other beautiful girls who have come to attend the wedding.  If your forehead is wide and broad, then any pattern will look nice.  For  narrow forehead stick to a small pattern of dots.
